Geek Girl Brunch, and it was awesome! Geek Girl Brunch is a monthly themed brunch for ladies only, sorry boys. It started in NYC, but now has chapters all over the word. There's even a chapter in Germany! So if you're interested see if they have one near you. February's brunch was a Studio Ghibli themed brunch at a restaurant called
Do Or Dine. I wore my Tee Fury Ghibli/Beatles tee; it was hiding from me for a few days, but I was able to find it. Please enjoy the food porn^^
I was surprised to learn when I arrived that the restaurant was closed and only open for us. It was nice having the place to ourselves. I thought that was amazing. I arrived with about three or four other ladies; the remaining ladies around a few minutes later. We ended up being a squad about 30 deep.
