My Wedding and 7 Rings Prologue Review

Evenin^^ Warm weather seems to be making it's way over to us. Voltage's released their newest game My Wedding and 7 Rings. I really enjoyed this game's prologue and was delighted to see that they brought back two characters from My Forged Wedding. Yamato and Ren can't seem to escape marriages of conveniences, sorry guys! I swear Voltage is pushing out these release, and I ain't even mad at them. As always you'll find spoilers underneath the cut, enjoy!

The prologue starts off with you being informed that you have to marry one of seven men that works at your company, and you have to do it within one year. The prologue goes to the beginning and explains how you find yourself in such a predicament. You day starts like a normal day at work; you have a lunch break with two of your girlfriends. Two of your high school friends, Yamato and Ren from My Forged Wedding, join the three of you. Through your banter with them, you reflect on how they were there for you after your parent's death. An announcement interrupts your thought and summons all employees for an important announcement.

The Guys of My Wedding and 7 Rings
  • Yamato: Bad tempered, but supportive
  • Ren: Shy and endearing
  • Asahi: Conceited and arrogant
  • Seiichirou: Cool and hard to read
  • Hiroto: Flirt
  • Junta: Mysterious and young
  • Kai: Aloof and cold
DETAILED REVIEW
Plot: Once again I think Voltage delivers a solid plot. Of course they re-used some themes like a relative the MC discovered and marriage of convenience, but I feel like they took a unique approach on it. Can we talk about the levels to which her grandfather thought this out, like really?! There are so many catches that it makes since that the MC has to go along with it. She has to deal with the company closing and having to pay severance pay a ridiculous amount of employees. Then she has to deal with rules on top of the arrangement.

The MC: Which brings me to the MC. Voltage has delivered another MC that I like, and I really appreciated how vocal she was.  Some MCs just think their indignation, but she spoke it aloud haha

Design: Another lovely design. And I really liked the color scheme. Once again they utilized the load screen really well. Wherever you typed on the top page, you would see little circles maybe they were supposed to be rings to go with the theme.
Music: They brought back my jam the main theme from My Forged Wedding.

The Guys: I like that in the prologue you aren't really given much as to their personalities which makes complete since you only know two of them. Ima really need for Voltage to chill with sexual harassment that scene with Hiroto was not okay, and I refuse to buy his route. That went farther then their typical arm touch or face touch. Like I really need for them to find the chill on that.
That's it for this review^^ Which guy did you like? I'm leaning towards Yamato, Ren, Kai, and Seiichirou's routes. I find Seeichirou very interesting for some reason and think I may end up buying his route first. Hope all is well with everyone. Good night!
